Your day begins at Mount Lofty Summit, where you’ll take in panoramic views across Adelaide and the surrounding coastline.
Next, enjoy two unhurried hours exploring Cleland Wildlife Park with your guide. Get up close to some of Australia’s most iconic wildlife, hand-feed friendly kangaroos and wallabies, see koalas up close, and discover wombats, echidnas, emus, dingoes and more along the way.
From there, travel to the historic German village of Hahndorf for an included lunch at The Haus, a family-owned Hahndorf restaurant showcasing South Australian produce. After lunch, enjoy some free time to explore Hahndorf’s boutique shops, galleries and historic streets at your own pace.
Continue through the Adelaide Hills to Melba’s Chocolate & Confectionery, where you can watch the factory in action, sample locally made chocolates and browse their extensive range of sweet treats. Next door, you can also sample locally produced cheeses.
If time permits, you can finish the afternoon with an optional stop at a local Adelaide Hills winery. Wine tasting can be arranged for guests who would like to include it, with tasting fees payable directly to the winery.
