How do I book a tour?
Booking with Discover Adelaide Tours is easy. Explore our range of private Adelaide day tours and premium Kangaroo Island experiences, then select your preferred tour. Our scheduled Kangaroo Island small-group tours can be booked online, while private experiences can be arranged directly with our team. We're always happy to discuss your preferences and help create the perfect itinerary.
Are your tours private or small-group?
Our Adelaide day tours are exclusively private, allowing you to enjoy a personalised experience with your own dedicated local driver-guide. Our premium Kangaroo Island tours are available as private experiences or intimate small-group departures with a maximum of just eight guests.
What is included in the tour price?
Our tours are designed to make exploring South Australia effortless. Private day tours generally include luxury transport, a dedicated local driver-guide, lunch and selected entry or tasting fees. Our Kangaroo Island experiences include accommodation, ferry travel, guided activities and selected meals, depending on your itinerary. Full inclusions are provided on each tour page, with no surprises about what's included.
Can we personalise our private tour?
Absolutely! Personalisation is at the heart of what we do. Whether you'd love to discover a hidden winery, enjoy an exceptional dining experience, encounter Australian wildlife or celebrate a special occasion, we can tailor your experience around your interests. We believe the most memorable journeys are made up of extraordinary little moments. That's why we weave the wow into every tour.
How do I pay for my tour?
Private day tours generally require full payment to confirm your booking. Multi-day tours and eligible private bookings made more than 30 days before departure can be secured with a 10% non-refundable deposit, with the balance payable 30 days before your tour. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
We understand that travel plans sometimes change. For day tours, cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure are eligible for a full refund under our standard booking terms. For multi-day tours, cancellations made 30 days or more before departure are refunded less the 10% non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made 14–29 days before departure receive a 50% refund, while cancellations made less than 14 days before departure are non-refundable. Some bookings made through third-party travel platforms may have different conditions. Please review the terms applicable to your booking.
Can I change my tour date?
We'll always do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability. For day tours, please contact us at least 24 hours before departure. For multi-day tours, we ask for at least 30 days' notice. Additional charges may apply if arrangements need to be changed.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements or mobility needs?
Yes. We want every guest to feel comfortable, welcomed and well cared for. Please let us know about any dietary requirements, mobility considerations or accessibility needs when enquiring. We'll discuss suitable experiences and make reasonable arrangements wherever possible.
What happens if the itinerary needs to change?
Occasionally, weather conditions, supplier availability or other unforeseen circumstances may require us to adjust an itinerary. Our experienced local guides will always aim to provide a wonderful alternative while maintaining the quality and spirit of your experience.
What happens if Discover Adelaide Tours cancels my tour?
If we need to cancel a tour, we'll contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative experience or a full refund, in accordance with our booking terms and applicable consumer law.
